Diagnosis of celiac disease typically involves a combination of clinical evaluation, serological tests and histological examination. IgA tissue transglutaminase is the most efficient serological test for the diagnosis of celiac disease. Anti-tTG IgA levels correlate with the degree of intestinal damage and values can fluctuate with disease activity. Anti-tTG tests can be used to support diagnosis in symptomatic individuals, to screen at-risk populations or to monitor diet compliance in patients previously diagnosed with celiac disease.
Antibodies directed against deamidated gliadin protein epitopes (DGP) are excellent markers for serological diagnosis of celiac disease. They bind to epitopes of deamidated gliadin fragments that are relevant for celiac disease pathogenesis. DGPs are formed by the action of tTG on native dietary gliadin.
For the diagnosis of celiac disease including different markers and cost-efficient ELISA-based screens.
Using our screening assays ideal for the efficient testing of large numbers of samples.
For serodiagnosis of celiac disease using human recombinant tissue transglutaminase.
Anti-DGP immunoassays are used for the in vitro determination of antibodies against deamidated gliadin peptide epitopes (DGP) in human serum samples. The Screen enables simultaneous detection of IgA and IgG antibodies.
The tests are intended to aid in the diagnosis of celiac disease in conjunction with other laboratory and clinical findings.
